  Been there several times, and their expertly tapped Belhaven Scottish Ale is superb!!! Service is generally very good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the décor is fun and engaging. I'll have to try more of their menu, but what I've had so far has been pretty good. However, on my most recent visit (3/31/17, around 6:30PM), while my pint of Belhaven was excellent as usual, the three tiny crab cakes were nicely golden brown on top, and burnt on the bottom, and they were very soggy and mushy inside, with little discernable flavor. And the half-order of chili-cheese nachos was sub-par, with ridiculous sparse little dollop-globs of chili which, along with the melted cheese, had cooled to the point of marginal warmth - unlike the other time I had them, when they were quite good (i.e. piping hot, and with an amount of chili one would normally expect). Was the cook having a bad day? Or was he (yes, "he") new, or just filling-in? I don't know. But since it was an anomaly, I'll certainly give them another chance or two (and try to sample more of their traditional Scottish fare for a change).

  What a gem! Very friendly, really good food and selection of beers. It was also good to try Scottish food and Scottish beer.
